On the day I had my 4th thesis crit, after Zohor, last Thursday; right after that I went to Taman Universiti buying some electrical stuff. That was the only suitable and available time to do so. Even though it was about to rain.
I went straight away to the shop that I've been to before. The stuff also been identified as I was not bringing enough money along with me previously. So, I got the stuff quickly and tested it before paying for the price. Then I was about to go out from the shop, to quickly head to UTM.
"Uncle, thank you aa..", I said.
He replied, "Welcome.. Eh! Aiyyo, sudah hujan maa."
Ouh! I look towards outside the shop. Yeah, It's already raining.. Heavily. Oh nooo.
The uncle then said, "You tunggu sekejap ya, ini hujan tak lama laa.. Kejap saja ni.." He softly offered me to just stay in his shop for a while, as the rain seems more and more heavy.
"Tenkiu uncle, saya tumpang duduk kat sini ya..", I replied while pointing my finger to a long timber chair available in his shop. Then I was just sitting there.. I think I was more than half an hour. As it is an electrical shop, there was two TVs screening different shows. The first one was a live Chinese concert which I can't hear the sound. So I just enjoy the dancing part. Then I realized that the dancer is Aaron Kwok. Yeah, I know him a bit. The other one was an English movie with (again) Chinese subtitles. Well, also with no sound. So I couldn't find a way to follow and understand the movie.
Then I read books given by his wife, one by one. She was really nice to me.
The first book is full with Chinese words.. Haha. I thought she didn't realize that. Then, she gave me a book with title "How to Manage Your Cholesterol". Again I thought, was she really mean it? oh come on, I just really don't need to read that kind of book, if you know me physically.. Haha.
And the third book she gave to me, I think it was slightly a better idea; the title is "Diseases and The Cures", something like that. I forgot the actual title. Well, it is totally about medical stuff. Perhaps it belongs to her daughter or son. Then I was like.. Read it thoroughly. You know, there was really nothing to do. Hua hua.
Forgot to mention, as it was a crit day, I didn't sleep at night before. So I just felt sleepy all the time. I felt asleep on the chair several times. Ah, I just wanted to lying down and sleep properly, but shy to do so.
Nearly 45 minutes or perhaps more, the condition seemed better. So I prepared to go out immediately. Then the aunt offered to prepare me a rain coat. Hah?
"Eh, menyusahkan untie je..", I said.
"Alaa, tak ape, untie biasa buat.. Senang saja guna plastik bag", she replied. Then she went into the pantry looking for a plastic bag. She cut the upper part of it and gave it to me to fit in. Then she tied it properly so it wont go away when fighting with the wind.
"Hati-hati ya, jangan bawak laju-laju.. Jalan licin tu", her last advice before I waved for leaving.
So I went back to UTM safely. When arrived at my faculty, I looked back at the 'rain coat' and I said, "baiknye untie tu..". Thanks for your attention and your help :)
